I’ve known some of those “Will work for food” pan handlers. Most are scammers. In regard to homelessness… It comes in various flavors. Some by choice, others as a result of medical/psychological problems, etc. It’s always been with us and will continue to be.
Love the sign…hope all is well with you. I am still planning my getaway in a used van and have a blogsite now to work it out and keep a diary of my journey. Your blog and others like it were an inspiration to me.

Very cool pic. I think I’d freak if I ever saw someone sitting on a street with that sign. I’m disabled, poor, etc. and that sign says so much. Thanks.:)

April, I’ve spent the last couple days reading your blog…you’re a brilliant writer. You should really consider writing a book.
Best wishes,
Robbie

You post a cryptic image after your extended absence. We all want change, but our views of change may differ.
You’ve been living in a mobile home, albeit a small one, but your writing skills impress.
I’ve visited your site often since I found it, and have wondered why you haven’t taken advantage of the means to monetize your blog through Google, Amazon, or a small number of successful on-line models.
You live in a van. I’m disabled, yet I make a fairly good income with AdSense and affiliate programs.
Your writing is top-notch, and it speaks to the soul. You should reconsider monetizing your blog, or perhaps make a topical essay site on tightly-focussed niche themes.
Best, Rick

Shall I assume you’re not posting anymore? What’s the haps?
Blah blah blah copyright this and that. I'm not an attorney, psychologist, proctocologist, proctor, or anything else that makes me universally able to dispense absolute truth with accuracy. This is a guide and personal narration--please regard it as such.
