Tribute to depression era hoboes
From long spoken word piece to website will illustrations. John Hodgeman did an hour or so long reading of imaginary hobo names, harkening back to the rail riders of the depression, and recorded the piece with musical accompaniment in one long take. This was then transcribed and a website was set up to allow illustrators to create visual renditions of all the 700 hoboes and is now complete.

The audio portion is available here at the Internet Archive and the illustrations are at e-Hoho.com. The direct link for the 19.3 meg audio file is here.
