There are many places now in NZ where it's illegal to freedom camp because the number of campervans is so high. And more councils are trying to push through making freedom camping illegal.</description>

					<description>I recall reading that NZ campervan holiday blog a bit of a while ago. That is really simple living. No dunny, no fridge, just you and the van.
NZ is a fewhours flight from here. Maybe one day I shold head over there for a trip. It was interesting that if you go from the south island to the north and visa versa, that you often get to swap vans rather than take it over on the ferry.
NZ and Oz are such safe places to van as compared to the US. There are so many tourists doing it here hat they rarely get hassled by the police for sleeping overnight on roads or the like.</description>
